I need your help. If in your travels, you go into antique stores, please take time to check out the piano rolls. Also spread the word to your friends. A dear friend of mine, Sol Goodman, is a well recognized collector of sheet music and other music items. He specializes in the Star Spangled Banner and Marches. But is quite knowledgeable on just about everything. He is looking for a rare piano roll. It was produced by the U S Music Company (I assume out of Chicago) in October, 1926. The song is "Bloomingdale". On the end of the box for a pizno roll is a label, and it has the name etc of the roll. On it will also be several sets of numbers.. One set will tell you what the date was (it does not say date - just prints the number). Look for the number 1026.
